Hull make it Rooster number three

Hull FC have signed Sydney Roosters forward Mark O’Meley on a three-year deal from the start of 2010. The Airlie birds have made this their third Roosters signing, alongside Craig Fitzgibbon and Jordan Tansey.
The 28 year old prop forward joined who joined the Roosters at the start of 2008 will be released from the final year of his contract so he can make the move to engage Super League.

Super League 2009: Round 19 Results (Friday)

As we edge closer to the end of the season, Round 19 gets under way as two fixtures take place on the Friday evening. St.Helens take the short trip to the Willows to face Salford, whilst Wigan play confident Harlequins in the only other fixture at the JJB Stadium.

Duggan to walk for charity

There is a big engage Super League match between Celtic Crusaders and Warrington Wolves this Saturday at the Brewery Field in Bridgend, and while most fans will be arriving for the 6pm kick-off by bus, train or car, Crusaders injured full-back Tony Duggan will be walking it… for charity.
Duggan, the all-time record try scorer for the Crusaders, had made an excellent start to Super League, scoring three tries in his first five appearances and breaking his 100 try mark for the club on the way.

Lauaki granted visa

New Hull FC signing Hame Lauaki, has finally been granted a visa to enter the UK following his signiture over 3 months ago.
The blistering New Zealand Warriors forward has been unable to enter the country due to a delay in his visa application which was held up as he had to prove he could speak English, despite living in New Zealand for over 20 years.

Three more fixtures took place on Sunday afternoon as in-consistant Hull travelled to Warrington. Hull KR have the home fixture against Wigan whilst Wakefield and Harlequins meet as both sides look to climb higher in the league tables.

Hull FC are proud to announce that Lime Property will take pride of place as the coveted shirt collar sponsor on the Black and Whites new strips for the 2010 season. Lime Property, a local estate agent, are already in partnership with the club after becoming their official relocation agent for new players and staff at the beginning of the year.

Changes to Hull derby fixture

Hull FC’s derby clash with rivals Hull Kingston Rovers at Craven Park next month has been re-arranged and brought forward.
The match, which was originally scheduled for Sunday 26th July has now been moved forward for television coverage and will be played on Saturday 25th July - 6pm kick-off.
In what can be described as one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures in the rugby league calendar, away ticket information will be available on Hull FC's official club website. |

Celtic launch partnership with Oakwood Theme Park

Celtic Crusaders and Oakwood Theme Park launched their new marketing partnership on Wednesday when the Crusaders first team squad, staff and their families enjoyed a day out at the Pembrokeshire-based park.
The two organisations are forming a strong marketing partnership with both having a presence at each others’ venues throughout the summer. They will be running joint competitions and working together to promote each others brands as well as many other activities that will link two major brands in Wales throughout this summer.
